Regarding Knabstrupper
daughter organizations
Thank you for
your letter regarding setting up a KNN associated Knabstrupper
organization in your country.
At the KNN board
meeting on April 25th 2004 these letters were handed to all the
Board members. Due to time pressures, besides this passing of information
the whole issue of daughter organizations was dealt with only briefly.
However, in
order to review the situation further, the Board has appointed a committee
to lay down terms of reference for our future daughter organizations. The
work of this committee will be presented at the next Board meeting on June
6th, where daughter organizations will be one of the main
issues on the agenda.
In the meantime,
Knabstrupperforeningen for Danmark has gratefully accepted Mr. Torben
Heeris’ translation of our laws and rules and we would encourage you to
use these in your day to day work with Knabstruppers. Within the next
year the whole complex of our laws and rules will be revised thoroughly
but Mr. Torben Heeris has kindly promised to translate again.
To make it
absolutely clear I must point out that so far Knabstrupperforeningen for
Danmark has never approved any daughter organization and the whole concept
for doing so is at the moment not in place.
I know that you
are all eagerly awaiting Knabstrupperforeningen for Danmark’s next move on
this matter but I must ask for even more of your patience as lots of
questions and legal aspects have arisen which must be reviewed and
resolved.
In the mean time
we encourage you to go ahead with the work of a Knabstrupper Organization
in your country.
Yours Sincerely
Ena Sparre |
